Abstract
As prosthetic restoration by implantation spreads widely, the socket lift used by less invasive techniques for overcoming bone deficiency commonly faced by clinicians in posterior area implantation in maxillary posterior area is recommended. Search literature, classify the technique, compare about socket lift using osteotome technique, and analyze the results. By using osteotome technique, the amount of increasing bone was less than other techniques, but high implant success rate, on average 93.5%, was obtained. All graft materials except DFDBA shows high success rate of over 90%. Socket lifting using osteotome technique is simple and less invasive, compared with other techniques, but has less increase in bone. Also, it shows high success rate compared with other techniques, and its?acceptance has expanded because of the development of various materials and instruments.
